Parcelly joins IMRG - the voice of e-retail

PARCELLY IS NOW AN OFFICIAL SUPPLIER OF IMRG - The UK's Online Retail Association

For more than 20 years, IMRG (Interactive Media in Retail Group) has been the voice for the online retail industry in the UK, "a membership community comprising businesses of all sizes – multichannel and pureplay, SME and multinational, and solution providers to industry." IMRG supports its members "through a range of activities – including market tracking and insight, benchmarking and best practice sharing. Our indexes provide in-depth intelligence on online sales, mobile sales, delivery trends and over 40 additional KPIs."

Sebastian Steinhauser, chief executive of Parcelly, said: “We are constantly extending our network of parcel collection points, which can already be found in more than 110 Parcelly locations in Greater London, Cambridge, Oxford and Kent and we are aiming to provide our service to even more cities all across the UK, to make parcel collection something customers can do quickly, easily and at their convenience. We are very excited to join IMRG’s network of suppliers and to provide access to our fully smartphone based click & collect solution."

For all retailers or e-tailers Parcelly is one of the most cost efficient open access networks in the UK available without any further need of integration. Retailers and e-tailers will benefit from a guaranteed increase in first time delivery rates, as well as improve the customer shopping experience and enhance customer satisfaction which will help drive repeat sales.

For international or local couriers and shippers Parcelly is seamlessly compatible and will help to save costs as there are no charges, fees or implementation expenses involved in using the open-loop network. Parcelly's hub locations do not only lower the number of driver destinations, but also reduce the number of parcels that require multiple delivery attempts.

Parcelly's CEO Sebastian Steinhauser, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Atmosfair and to help to reduce the actual source of CO2 while improving the educational and economic opportunities of those locals that live in proximity to their projects. Parcelly is a big admirer of Atmosfair's pioneering spirit and similar to them, Parcelly is conscious of helping to reduce the environmental impact made by online shopping – as our service turns home delivery into eco friendly hub delivery. Through this partnership and the provision of Atmosfair's CO2 efficient stoves, we are delighted to offer our customers yet another way to reduce their carbon footprint.”
