Connect with Parcelly at the Air Quality Summit in London!

We need to tackle London’s dangerously polluted air and make sure that breathing clean air is a right, not a privilege
— Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London

With population increasing rapidly and transport demands rising, London’s air quality has never been a bigger issue than right now.  The Air Quality summit has been created as a place for business owners to meet and create a business-led air quality strategy.  Speakers at the event include Valerie Shawcross CBE, Deputy Mayor for Transport and Alex Williams, Interim Managing Director of Planning for TFL.

The new mayor of London Sadiq Khan recently made his first major policy announcement, unveiling plans to substantially increase the size of London’s clean air charging zone to tackle the capital’s illegal air pollution levels.  His concern over the matter demonstrates just how great an issue this is and at Parcelly we are proud to be a leading advocate for change in the right direction.

Parcelly seeks to offer a greener alternative for online shoppers by reducing the number of driver destinations as well as parcels that require multiple delivery attempts.  Alongside this, we donate up to 5% of the price of each Parcelly Booking to further reduce the carbon footprint. For these reasons we have had much interest from London's councils as with Parcelly employees can stop sending their online purchases into the office to avoid missing the postman, but collect when and where they want, e.g. close to home or wherever is most convenient for them.

If you plan on attending the event, please speak with Parcelly and learn about our exciting upcoming developments.
